The 2015-2016 NBA schedule is out. So, that means we get our first look at the Christmas day matchups. And it looks to be some good ones.
First, at noon on ESPN we have the Miami Heat vs the New Orleans Pelicans. With the additions the Heat have made this offseason and the Pelicans signing Anthony Davis with a big contract this should be an interesting game.
Next up on ABC, around 2:30 the Chicago Bulls take on the OKC Thunder. Let’s hope this year we see two healthy teams, instead of the injuries we have seen for these teams this past season.
At 5:00 on ABC we may have the most interesting game of the day. It is a finals rematch. The Cleveland Cavaliers take on the Golden State Warriors. The Cavs hope to have a healthy Love and Irving. We will have to wait and see if that affects the outcome of this game. It’s going to be a must watch in our book.
Going back to ESPN for the 8:00 game. The loaded, more than usual, San Antonio Spurs vs Houston Rockets. San Antonio has made off season moves to re-sign most of their veterans and the new Spur LaMarcus Aldridge. This in-state matchup may be one for the ages.
Christmas day games come to a conclusion with the 10:30 game in L.A.. The Lakers and Clippers face off on ESPN. Let’s see if the Lakers have a healthy Kobe to go along with their number 2 draft pick D’Angelo Russell. This will be a good game to end a day of instant classics.
