NCAA Men’s Top 25: After the Upsets



With all the upsets so far this season, the Top 25 is bound to change!

These are the teams that dropped out of the rankings:

13 Indiana (7 Duke*)

14 Cal(Seattle*)

17 ND(Illinois*)

18 UCONN(Sacred Heart*)

20 Witchita (Saint Louis*)

22 LSU ( Charleston*)

The teams that are now in:

14 Syracuse (Wisconsin*)

20 West Virginia (Kennesaw St*)

23 Providence (Hartford*)

24 Louisville (3 Michigan St*)

25 Baylor (PV A&M*)

The top 3 stayed the same, 1 Kentucky 2 Michigan St., 3 Maryland followed by 4 Kansas and 5 Iowa St. who switched places. Oklahoma now 6th and knocked Duke down to 7th. Virginia rebounded from it previous loss and moved back up to 10th. Purdue moved up from 16th to 11th. Gonzaga now 13, 19 Arizona, 21 Miami all dropped with their losses.

Other changes include:

Xavier moved up from 23rd to 12th.

Oregon up to 15th from 21st.

Vanderbilt up 3 spots to 16th with Cincy and Texas A&M moved up 7 to 17th and 18th. SMU also moved up 3 to 22nd.

Syracuse was the highest now ranked team that was not previously ranked.
