Watson Named Suns Head Coach

The Phoenix Suns have agreed to a three-year deal with Earl Watson to become their head coach.
Watson took over on as interim coach when Jeff Hornacek was fired after leading the team to a 14-35 start.
It was the first head coaching job for Watson, who joined the Suns staff before the 2015-16 season. In 33 games as the Suns’ head coach, Watson was 9-24.

The Suns finished with the second-worst record (23-59) in the Western Conference this season.
