Collins Sent to Minor League After Flipping Off Fans 

Detroit Tigers outfielder Tyler Collins is headed to the minors, less than 48 hours after he flipped off booing fans at Comerica Park. 
It was announced as the corresponding roster move made in the wake of the the team’s decision to activate closer Francisco Rodriguez from the family emergency medical leave list.

Cameras caught him not only flipping the bird but also yelling vulgarities after he was taunted for his misplay in center field.
The league chose not to suspend Collins. It is not immediately clear whether Collins was fined, as the league does not comment on fines.
