LA Dodgers relief pitcher Josh Ravin has now joined the suspension crew. He has been suspended for 80 games following a positive test under MLB’s drug program.
Ravin is now the 8th suspended player this season. He tested positive for Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide 2.(MLB)
He claims that during spring training he took the drug after losing around 20 lbs from fighting the flu and strep throat.
The Dodgers claim to be disappointed and most couldn’t blame them. Ravin will lose some of his salary. He has also been on the disabled list this season with an arm injury.
