Brawl to Cost Odor 8 Games

Texas Rangers Rougned Odor expected a suspension. The second baseman has now been handed an eight-game suspension for punching Jose Bautista.
He will appeal and be able to play until a new ruling is handed down. Odor also doesn’t regret hitting Bautista.

Bautista, Odor, along with Josh Donaldson and bench coach Steve Buechele were ejected after the brawl but we are unaware if any more suspensions or fines will be handed down.

Once the game restarted, Jesse Chavez hit the next batter which caused teams to return to the field. He and his coach DeMarlo Hale were ejected because both team were previously warned by umpires. Hale was the active manager for the Blue Jays as manager John Gibbons had previously been ejected for arguing with the homeplate umpire.
