Brook Thompson, Former USTA Coach, Passed Away at 45

Brooks Thompson, 45, has passed away.
He was a star at Oklahoma State and became a NBA guard. The Orlando Magic picked him 27th in the 1994 draft.

For the past 10 season he coached at USTA. He was fired in March.
In April, Thompson suffered double organ failure and was more recently admitted to a hospital for a blood infection.

Before becoming a star at OK State, Thompson played for Texas A&M. Once he was drafted, he played for the Knicks, Magic, Jazz, Nuggets, and Suns.
From 1998 until earlier this year, Thompson has been a coach. He started as an assistant at OK State, then became a coach at Metro Christian Academy.

Please keep his family and friends in your prays at this difficult time.
