Roman Reigns (Joe Anoa`i) will be missing some time in the ring. The WWE has suspended him for 30 days.
His suspension is from a violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.
He tweeted after the news broke and said: “No excuses. I own it.”
Just on Sunday, Reigns lost his WWE heavyweight title at Money in the Bank.
He has just been named for the main event at WWE’s “Battleground” event. It is a triple threat match. The event is set for July 24. The suspension will not run into that date. But, WWE can opt to pull him from the event.
His suspension will affect the July 19 draft. The draft is when WWE splits between RAW and Smackdown.
